Course Description
Environmental Health explores the relationship between human wellbeing and the natural world through a Christian lens, emphasizing our responsibility to steward creation with wisdom, compassion, and accountability. Students will examine modern environmental challenges, the rise of global toxicity and pollution, and the ways our daily choices impact ecological systems. Through evidence-based instruction and faith-informed principles, the course builds awareness, encourages lifestyle responsibility, and highlights practical strategies for restoring balance to both personal health and the environment.
This course also provides a foundational understanding of how diet, waste, industry, and resource management contribute to environmental outcomes. Students will explore realistic solutions, emerging research, and sustainable habits that protect human life and the planet. By the end, learners will be equipped to make informed decisions that support cleaner living, healthier communities, and a renewed commitment to caring for God’s creation.
