Course Description
This course explores time-honoured, God-given approaches to supporting health and healing by working in harmony with the body’s innate design. Grounded in a Christian worldview that respects the wisdom of creation, this course emphasizes practical, non-toxic methods for managing and preventing illness without contributing to further physiological stress or toxic burden. Students receive hands-on instruction that bridges traditional natural therapies with foundational health principles.
Through practical demonstrations and applied learning, students will gain confidence in using natural interventions safely and effectively. Topics include both internal and external applications, lifestyle considerations, and discernment in choosing appropriate remedies for common conditions.
Students will learn:
- Understand the principles behind natural healing and the body’s self-repair mechanisms
- Prepare and apply poultices, compresses, and herbal remedies
- Use kitchen herbs and natural substances for therapeutic purposes
- Apply water-based therapies for pain relief, circulation, and detoxification
- Identify appropriate remedies for inflammation, congestion, swelling, and minor injuries
- Evaluate when natural remedies are appropriate and when additional support is required
